After a successful, 15-year corporate career at Apple, plus marketing leadership roles at two global agriculture companies, as COO at a behavioral health consulting company and as an independent strategic sales and marketing consultant, Susan founded two companies:
– Indie Do Good, a logistics, marketing, and engineering services provider, supporting independent, entrepreneurial small/medium businesses, both non-profit and profit-based companies.
– Otten Associates, an investment group with the purpose of providing seed funding and guidance for early-stage companies who do good.
Susan’s passion is helping businesses grow through logistics, marketing, engineering, relationships/networking and delighting (not just “satisfying”) the customer. An award-winning, accredited business communicator, visionary, marketer and business development strategist, Susan helps entrepreneurs achieve success faster and with more impact for doing good in their communities and our world.
Susan earned her BS from the University of Minnesota, MBA from Benedictine University, Chicago and is certified as a Strategic Communication Management Professional, Accredited Business Communicator and in the GRI Sustainability Reporting Process. Susan has been married for 43 years, has two grown kids with her first grandson due in November. She is an avid well-being enthusiast and volunteers with children’s and women’s ministries at her church.
